The McKinley ADU project added a one-bedroom ADU above the existing one-car garage of the main house. Given the age of the structure, foundations and wall framing needed to be reinforced, but once the space above took shape, the treehouse feel made it all worthwhile. With an open kitchen and living area, and well placed windows providing views to the mountains and surrounding trees, this small space lives large.
